Meeting Notes from the Women's Informational Meeting held March 1st, 2011 at the Victory Cafe

Notes on the schedule:
- The April 19th game is a bus trip to Monmouth with the Men. Please respond to any emails on attendance promptly to ensure we have enough seats.
- The May 8th game is a Sunday game against the NRU U23s. The NRU U19s and Senior Select Sides will also be at the field for practice.
- May 21st is Friends and Family Day. The Women will have a short Old Girls vs. Young Girls game. The Men and Old Boys will play Springfield.
- May 14th-15th we will travel to Newport for the NERFU tournament. We will stay as a team at the same house we rented last year. Nicole Vidro (Nevada) will send out more information on costs when the date gets closer, but start saving now!
The Jonesy Golf Tournament is scheduled for May 16th. An email will be sent out looking for volunteers and sponsors. Please contact

Rachel Grimm has stepped down as Mechandise Guru. Thanks for all your years keeping us decked out in Knick's gear!
Tracy Cooper has stepped down as dues collector. Thank you for all your hard work! Nevada will be taking over as dues collector and will be responsible for making sure everyone is CIPP registered.
Mary and Willow will remain as Recruiting Leads. Please actively assist them by distributing any recruiting information they provide. The more the merrier!
Thank you Mary and Nevada for getting the new jerseys ordered. The first stripes design won and the new jerseys will be the same Halbro jerseys that they men have.
7s practice will begin May 18th. Practices will be held every Wednesday throughout the summer.
The new captains for 2011 are Kristin Bonomo and Angie Craig. Congratulations!

Open Positions:
- Merchandise Girl: Assist Nicole Armstrong with ordering warm up shirts, sweats, and anything other swag.
- Media Point: Contact local media with game day scores.
- Field Committee: Represent the women on the Field Committee. Required to attend occasional meetings.
- 7s Lead (1-3 people): Responsibilities include deciding which tournaments to attend, collecting tournament fees, keeping the listserv and website up to date with schedule and results, making game selections, and providing feedback from tournaments to Joanne (who will still run practice).
