<![CDATA[Albany Knickerbockers Rugby Club in Albany, NY - News]]>Wed, 22 May 2013 22:01:12 -0500Weebly<![CDATA[Men Kick Off Season]]>Sat, 30 Mar 2013 13:52:23 GMThttp://www.albanyknicks.org/4/post/2013/03/men-kick-of-season.htmlThe club side starts its spring 2013 season on the road today against longtime rival White Plains. It’s been a while since the 2 sides have played against each other. Albany will be traveling with 35 players down to White Plains High School. The strong recruiting continues as 10 new Knicks will be on debut. If not for the holiday weekend and work commitments the club would easily be traveling with 45 plus. The “club first ethos” is paying off. It will be a tough outing as White Plains already has some games under their belt and play in Division I, but the Knicks are hoping to make the trip back up the thruway with 2 hard fought wins.
