March 16 and 17 Rugby NY will hold a player camp for high school age players of all levels of experience:
On March 16 and 17, Rugby NY will be holding a player camp at the Sportsplex of Halfmoon, 6 Corporate Drive, Halfmoon, NY. Camp on Friday runs from 6 to 9 pm and Saturday 2:30 to 9:30 pm. The camp will be led by Luke Gross, USA Rugby Men’s and Women’s National Team Assistant Coach and Melanie Denham, USA Rugby Women’s National Team member. Luke Gross is currently the High Performance Manager and Specialist Coach for USA Rugby. He brings the experience of 12 years of professional rugby, playing in the United Kingdom and Italy. He has played for the USA Rugby Men’s National Team 62 times, including the 1999, 2003 and 2007 World Cups. Melanie Denham played in the 2010 Women’s Rugby World Cup and is the forwards coach for Radcliffe College. She also plays for Beantown Rugby in Boston. The camp is for high school age players of all levels of experience, including those new to the sport.
