Looking for some summer rugby action?? Both our men's and women's 7s programs will be in full swing starting this week!

Women's practices: Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6pm-8pm at Dick Green Field
Men's practices: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm-8pm at Dick Green Field

The women will have 2 sides this season, a social and a competitive. Contact Lauren (Skeeter) Sirkin for more information, including cost.
The men will enter sides based on sign ups. Contact Sam Morealle for more information. Cost per player will be between $25 and $35 per tournament. The more players commit, the cheaper it is for everyone!

Winter rugby activities are aplenty! 

Albany Knicks Touch Rugby 1/10/18-3/14/18

• The Knicks will be hosting Touch Rugby Sessions at the Afrims in Colonie (636 Albany Shaker Rd, Albany, New York 12211).
• Sessions are from 9:45pm until around 11pm.
• Touch Starts Wednesday, 1/10/17 and will continue every Weds until 3/15/17 (the last 2 weeks will likely be club practices.)
• We will select teams and then play as many games as possible.
• Entry to play will be $5 a session.
• This is a great way to invite brand new players to learn our great game! 

Albany Knicks YOUTH Touch Rugby 1/21/18-3/18/18

• Albany Knicks Youth Rugby will be hosting winter sessions at the Afrims in Colonie (636 Albany Shaker Rd, Albany, New York 12211). Sessions will be from 7-8:30pm.
• Open to girls and boys in Grades 2-8.  We will be playing flag rugby and teaching associated skills.  Newcomers are welcome. 
• The cost is $50/player.  Afrim’s also charges an annual fee of $15 for each participant (Not required If you have already paid the Afirm’s fee because of participation in another activity at one of their facilities)
• Find necessary (3) forms for participation attached to this email. Contact Rob Sliwinski with any questions.
• We will skipping Super Bowl Sunday (2/4) and President’s Day weekend (2/18)
• This program is always open for volunteers, so get out there and run around with the kids! And forward info to your youth owning friends and fam!

• Train with USA Rugby Academy: Register for the Boston, MA USA Rugby Academy Training Camp, February 24th-25th, and get ready to improve your tackling, catching, passing, and footwork. Every year, our club hosts an Annual General Meeting to review Club activity and issues for the past and upcoming year. We also cover club finances and vote on leadership for next year. 

All club members are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to attend to help set the path for the club in the upcoming year.

The entire Executive Committee (Director, President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Youth Coordinator) is up for re-election.
All FULL DUES PAYING MEMBERS are allowed to vote.

Any nominees should be sent to our secretary by November 10 so that the nominees can be notified and accept/reject the nomination prior to the meeting.

Fall 15s will officially kick off today!

Both the Men and the Women will start their seasons HOME on September 9th.

Men's practices will start TODAY (8/15), 6-8pm at Dick Green Field!  Practices will continue through November on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For the complete schedule click here.

The women will kick off their practice schedule TOMORROW with RUGBY  OLYMPICS! An annual tradition to start the season off on a fun foot! Everyone is welcome, old players and new, active, social, retired, ALL ARE WELCOME! The games will begin at 6pm at Dick Green Field.

Normal women's practices will begin Monday, 8/21, 6-8pm and will continue through October on Mondays and Wednesdays. For the complete schedule click here.
