ABOUT THE CLINICS: The Albany Knickerbocker Rugby Football Club (AKRFC) will be hosting college level rugby clinics for men and women on April 19, 2015 at Dick Green Field in Albany, NY. These 4-hour clinics will consist of open-play fundamentals, proper technique in set pieces and the back line, and end with a scrimmaging session. All experience levels are welcome. Coaches with experience from the USA to the college level will be involved in the day’s events. DATE: Sunday April 19th, 2015 TIME: The women’s clinic will run from 10:30AM-2:30PM (registration at 10AM) and the men’s clinic will run from 1PM-5PM (registration at 12:30PM). COST: $10 per player or $150 per team (minimum of 20 players). EQUIPMENT: Participants should bring the necessary practice gear including cleats, shoulder pads, scrum caps, and mouth guards. We ask that all participants bring one light and one dark colored t-shirt/jersey for the scrimmages. Participants are encouraged to bring a snack (power bar, etc.) to stay energized and their own water bottles. REGISTRATION/PAYMENT: If you are interested, please register online (see link below) by April 12, 2015. You will then be sent information about how to pay. In the event that you register and do not show up, you will forfeit your registration fee. In the event that this clinic needs to be cancelled for any reason, all funds will be returned.
